I enjoyed dim sum at the JLP on Sunday and had to wait an hour. However, the wait was worth it because the dim sum was very good. Not as good as SF Chinatown, but close 8^) I found the service quite friendly but per an earlier reviewer it might have been because I'm Chinese. The servers were prompt. The food was just at the right temperatures. The facility was welcoming! It's a wonderful Sunday treat! |

1. Do not throw the menu, plates, & utensils.
2. Do not talk to others when you are talking to customers, especially, taking orders.
Hope it's not too much to ask (to clueless people).
Meat dishes smell in spite of high price.
Enormous dim sum variety & most are good, however, each dish is more expensive than other restaurants.
Thy shall not expect good service at Chinese restaurants is a general rule even though they are known as expensive.
*I rated as 'OK' because service differs when I go with Taiwanese friends. |

There is a known saying in the customer service industry: If you like something you will most likely tell one person but if you don't like something you will tell 100 people.
I believe it is a necessary service to prospective patrons to know that if you are not Chinese, do not go to this restaurant! The owners and staff are rude and inconsiderate and the food is only adequate. It is shocking that they are recognized as one of the best in the area. I will never eat there again. The overall ambiance was simple and cold. Every person working there wore a scowl on their face. |
