My girlfriend and I stumbled upon China Garlic by mistake during the summer of 2001. We were about to take the drive back to Walnut Creek after walking out on another restaurant on Piedmont Avenue, when we walked by China Garlic. The autmosphere is small, quiet and cozy. Nothing real fancy about the restaurant itself, but the food is delicious. Some dishes are made with garlic, but just the right amount. If you like Chinese food, you have to stop in here at least once. We now make it a regular treat. It's worth the 25 minute drive! |
