For several years now, my friends and I have been enjoying the excellent food and wonderful service at Old Peking on Main St in Moscow.
Sam and Luan are wonderful people. They are warm, friendly and a joy to be with.
If you like spicy dishes, the Kung Pao Chicken, Black Bean Chicken, or Pork with Garlic Sauce are great choices. If you want it spicier still, Sam will gladly make your head sweat. Thier Mongolian Beef or Sesame Chicken are delicious as well -- if you want just a little bit of zip. And, if you are just in the mood for a smooth delicious meal, the Almond or Cachew Chicken dishes are hard to beat.
Once, Sam made a group of us a special treat -- Kung Pao Chicken the way he would made it back home. I don't know Mandarin or Cantonese, but I think it put the "Pao" in Kung Pao. It was delicious and our faces radiated for hours!
Though I have moved away from Moscow on multiple occasions, each time I visit I make a point to stop by at least once, more if I can.
My only regret this past year has been that they don't deliver to Burlington, Massachusetts. Regretable, but understandable. |
